Ueno Juri is a Japanese actress. Because of her roles in the movie Swing Girls, dorama Nodame Cantabile, and appearances on the TV show Minna no Uta, she has been featured in two albums and two singles as an instrument player (saxophone) and singer.

  • Usually she speaks in Kansai dialect.
  • She is a fan of Utada Hikaru. Her favorite song from Utada's HEART STATION album is TAKE 5.
  • For the film Swing Girls, Ueno, along with her other cast members, had to learn how to play her character's instrument. In this case, it was the saxophone.
  • During Swing Girls shooting, she bought the first three volumes of Nodame Cantabile's manga as reference for her work in the movie though she never read them. When the talk about the live action of the manga came, she began to read the whole series.
  • She studied piano lessons since kindergarten until 6th grade.
  • She only likes to cook Japanese food.
