Hello. I think I said this to you before back on thePPN, but we don't post the back cover of a release. If there is a picture of the artist you can crop it and use it as a promo image (just like here). Also when uploading images please use categories, such as CD Cover and either Album/Single Cover. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 21:52, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

With all of the images on this site I don't see the harm in posting the back cover once in a while. Especially when the back isn't featureless or has a picture of the artist. Your example is fine, but I prefer to say "back cover" than "promoting the album", and I don't see why cropping is necessary. Please allow some room for individual preferences. Well, we are trying to be consistent. The back cover just isn't something that is needed, all the information found on it should already be on the page (release date, catalog number, tracklist, price). This wiki has the same guidelines as thePPN. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 22:24, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Why have the second picture in your example then? Why have more than 1 picture of any artist? None of these pictures are needed either. What makes your page consistent and my page not consistent? Why does my page have to look exactly like yours? I do follow the guidelines very closely, thank you. Catbus 22:47, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
I think we need a serious look over the existing policies/guidelines here as there are some who would like a particular artist/group page to look a certain way. For instance, some artist pages use tables and some do not. Now, I'm not sure if an online meeting can be arranged, but it'd be great if we agreed to change some guidelines and add some new ones as (despite the ideals/pages carrying over) we are not really thePPN. I'm not saying we should do away with the guidelines, but just tweaking them a little bit :) --EXodius 22:54, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Having multiple pictures of an artists shows how they have changed over the years. As I said before, we don't place the back covers on pages, which makes those pages you added them to not consistent. It's not about your page looking like my page, but about all the pages looking the same. On thePPN this was always an issue since each mod liked their style the best, but here we have settled on this layout for the pages.
EXodius, I thought we already decicded to do away with the discography tables? I think only the Hello! Project pages are left because no one feels like doing all that work. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 23:34, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Why do you remove promotional pictures for Hayashibara's page, Catbus? What we are saying that we don't include back cover for a single/album page, a promotional picture show how an artist matured in this single/album but a back cover only shows tracklist and we have tracklist in the page. --Seph 04:44, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
