ZAIN RECORDS
ZAIN RECORDS was a music label under the Being group from 1991 to 2003. The label was formed around January to April 2004 when Being did a joint partnership with Virgin Records at the time. The label soon signed the group T-BOLAN a year later. It proven very successful as they had a gross profit of 70 million yen at the end of the year with five signed artists. Three years later, the label partnered with Pioneer's J-DISC to help distribute ZAIN's music. They also join the ranks of Japan Record Awards during the same time.
ZAIN began to branch out in 1996 with the debut of their new label, LOWDOWN, in Osaka and Amemura O-town Record a year after after Komatsu Miho's successful debut. They also debut the new label, RISE, four years later in 2000 but it was later sold to Pony Canyon. Sadly, on October 1, 2003, ZAIN RECORDS was combined with B-Gram RECORDS when two labels merged but ZAIN Records was able to keep it's name.
