JASMINE
JASMINE is a Japanese pop / R&B singer. She made her debut in June 2009 with the single "sad to say", which topped RIAJ download charts.
JASMINE was involved in music from an early age when age of 13, she had the first experience of singing in a gospel choir at the U.S. Yokota Air Base. She later joined the American Expedition Choir the age of 15 and at 17-years-old, JASMINE sang regularly at her local church. She always dreamed to have amazing vocals and to make her own music with her own lyrics and become a professional singer. She sent "sad to say" as a demo song to Sony Music Entertainment and got a contract with the company.
She became well known with her single covers of her standing still while her outfits blend into the background on the covers, she later abandoned that technique after the release of her seventh single ONLY YOU.
Since JASMINE debut, she had released nine singles and 1 album. Her ninth single "High Flying" was released May 29th, 2013.
