"Simple And Clean" is as song recorded by Utada Hikaru, first released in 2003 on her "COLORS" single. It was used as the Kingdom Hearts theme song for the US/Global release, and for all region releases of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded. It is also the English version of "Hikari", although they differ on the lyrics and melody for the chorus. "Simple and Clean" takes its chorus melody from "Uso Mitai na I Love You", another Utada song released in the same era as "Hikari".
