Information

Seishun Amigo is Shuuji to Akira's first and only single. This single reached #1 in the Oricon weekly singles chart and is the #1 best-selling single of 2005 as well as the #3 single of 2006. Each song on this single was featured in a popular dorama; Seishun Amigo was the Nobuta wo Produce theme song, Colorful was the Dragon Zakura insert song, and Kizuna was the Gokusen 2 insert song. Colorful and Kizuna are sung solo by the actor featured in each specific dorama and Seishun Amigo is a duet.

The first press version included an exclusive 12-page photo-booklet, though interestingly didn't include the karaoke tracks. In 2005, the single sold 945,315 units.
