Information

NEWS LIVE TOUR 2020 STORY is the fifteenth DVD release by NEWS and features footage of their concert from Yokohama Arena in March 2021. The concert was released in a limited and a regular edition on DVD and Blu-ray. The limited editions contain a 48-page booklet and include a documentary about the tour as well as a compilation of MC excerpts from the tour. The regular editions include five postcards and a bonus track with NEWS’s performance in Nagoya.

The tour was originally designed to be performed with four members but just before first concert (originally planned for March 7th 2020), the COVID-19 pandemic hit and lead eventually to the postponing of the whole tour. After Tegoshi Yuya left the band, the tour concept was slightly modified but kept mostly intact: The story told in the interludes, for example, is about four men doing quests, three of which are named as the members and a fourth one only referred to as “a man”.
