HOCUS POCUS is the fifth studio album released by Kimura Kaela. The album was released in two editions: a limited edition CD+DVD version and a normal CD only edition. The limited edition DVD comes with music videos for all of the album's singles, a special scene from Kimura's return to Saku Saku, and a making of the "BANZAI" video. The song "Butterfly" was used as a digital single to help promote the album and it received a music video (which is not featured on the limited DVD).

The album reached #3 on the weekly Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of 16 weeks. Because the album sold 205,305 copies in 2009, it became the #37 best selling album of the year.
