DREAM is the third studio album recorded by YU-A. It was released in two editions: a limited CD+DVD edition containing three bonus tracks, and a regular CD edition. Much like YU-A's previous records this album was made up of Urban contemporary songs; the song "SWITCH" feat. MYNAME is instead an electro-pop song, and YU-A would explore the genre more on her single "You are my superman" (2014) and on her fourth record PURPLE (2015).
The song "Kataomoi" was used as the ending theme for the TV program Oh! Doyakao Summit, "Hey Ladies!" was chosen as the official cheer song for Nankai Candies' member Yamasaki Shizuyo, "I WANT YOU" was used as the ending theme song for the TV program Hayarin Monroe!, and "LINK" was used as the theme song for the movie Yuki Monogatari.
