Saori@destiny is a Japanese electropop singer produced by Terukado. She is signed to the major record label D-topia Entertainment and her music is distributed by Victor Entertainment. She began her musical career by performing in the streets of Akihabara and her song "My Boy" was used in the MMORPG "Secret Online".
Information
Saori isdescribed as an "electropop maverick", "the second Genki Rockets" and "virtual chaos fully aware of its own existence". She is known for doing cover songs and has covered, among others, "Shangri-La" by Denki Groove, "sakura" by Kyogo Kawaguchi and "EZ DO DANCE" by TRF.
She debuted with the single "My Boy" and made her major debut under Victor Entertainment with the single "sakura", in March, 2008. In November 19 of the same year, she released her first album "JAPANESE CHAOS", containing contains "sakura", a new vocal mix of "My Boy" and a denpa remix of "Sayonara Revival" among other new songs.
In 2009, Saori released a digital single named "WOW WAR TECHNO" which led to a mini-album with the same title.
For 2010, it's scheduled two exclusive limited singles: "Ethnic Planet Survival" of TOWER RECORDS and "Lonely Lonely Lonely" of HMV. A promotional video was shot for "Ethnic Planet Survival", according to Saori's blog.
