Mukai Taichi (向井太一) is a J-R&B singer-songwriter and model under the TOY'S FACTORY label. His musical style mixes J-pop with alternative R&B, soul, funk and experimental electronica sounds.
In 2023, he announced that he would begin releasing music under the name TAIL.

In 2020, Taichi started gaining attention from mainstream artists, collaborating with famous acts such as m-flo and SMAP former member Katori Shingo.
In 2023, following the release of his first best-of album THE LAST, Mukai announced that he would rebrand and begin releasing music under the name "TAIL."
