Jo Kwon Vol. 1 is Jo Kwon's debut solo album. It was released in two different versions with different packaging and bonus content. The I'm Da One version comes with a manual, fake mustache, 3D poster, 3D glasses, and book clip. The Animal version comes with a 42-page photobook and a poster. People who order the album online would receive one of the versions selected for them at random. The song "I'm Da One" was used as the first lead track and "Animal" was used as the second one.
The I'm Da One version of the album was released in LP format two months later.
