Information

dps formed in early 2017 and had their debut release, Begins with Em, under the indie label Tent House. The EP was rather succesful, achieving no.1 on Tower Records Kansai rankings. On September 2018, it was announced their major debut under major label GIZA studio. Their first release under the new label, Timeline, was used as an opening theme for the anime Meitantei Conan.

The band name, dps, is an abbreviation from "d-project"+"special", aiming at being a special band. Three of the band's members had participated in d-project band project in celebration for the 25th anniversary of ZARD's debut.
