Open α Door (read as Open alpha Door) is the seventh studio album released by Aimer. It was released in four versions: a complete limited CD+2Blu-ray+Goods edition, a limited CD+Blu-ray edition type A, a limited CD+DVD edition type B, and a regular CD only edition. The complete limited edition comes with a jigsaw puzzle, plus pre-orders of all editions of the album come with a free B2-size poster at select stores.
The song "Zankyou Sanka" was used as the opening theme for the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba – Yuukaku-hen and was previously released on her twentieth single; "Resonantia" is a new song for the album, was released digitally in advance ahead of the album on July 10th, 2023 and was used as lead track for the album; "Deep down" was used as the ending theme for the anime Chainsaw Man and was previously released on her third mini-album; "Asa ga Kuru" was used as the ending theme for the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba – Yuukaku-hen and was previously released on her twentieth single; "Oaiko" was used as the theme for the Abema TV romance reality show Ookami-chan to Ookami-kun ni wa Damasarenai and was previously realeased as digital single and later included on her third mini-album; "Gunjoushoku no Sora" is a new song for the album and was used as theme song for the NTT Docomo web CM Docomo Mirai Museum; "I know U know" is a new song for the album and was used as theme song for the CM of the web movie Jaa Tokyo Kaeru ne by Tokyo Craft; "escalate" was used as the opening theme for the anime NieR:Automata Ver1.1a and was previously released on her twenty first single; "spiral dance" is a new song for the album and was used as theme song for the CM TOPVALU "Eat it! joy nuts & Gateau Soway"; "Atemonaku" was used as the ending theme for the anime Ousama Ranking Yuuki no Takarabako and was previously released on her twenty second single; "SKYLIGHT" is a new song for the album.
