For You / Time Limit is Utada Hikaru's sixth single, and her second double A-side single, after Automatic / time will tell in 1998. Suprisingly, neither track was used for any tie-up (for example, as a song used in a commercial). It's popularity is most likely due to the fact that just after it's release, Utada started her first nation-wide tour. Time Limit was arranged and produced by Rodney Jerkins aka Darkchild, making this Utada's second involvement with a famous American R&B/Hip-Hop arranger (Two previous singles, Addicted To You and Wait & See ~Risk~ were arranged by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis). Because this single is a double A-sided one, each side of the single has a cover artwork relevant to it. This single reached #1 on Oricon charts, charting for 13 weeks. This single became the #18 single of 2000 in Japan. It reached #32 on World Charts for single airplay, and reached #28 for sales. The most recent figures (May 26, 2006) show that the singe sold 888,650 units in total. Track Listing
