"Blue Jam" is BONNIE PINK's debut album released under Pony Canyon. In contrast to her later releases, Bonnie credits herself using her real name Asada Kaori for the lyrics/composition. There was one single released from the album, Orange (オレンジ) (which was released after the album's release). Occasionally the covers for this album are confused with one another. This album is filled with Asada's own personality, which runs emotionally throughout her lyricism, expressed through a unique, soulful singing style perhaps unheard of in Japanese. Musically this one is multi-edged, with influences from 60's rock to modern funk, and a wide range of guests. The album is produced by Ide Yasushi. This album did not chart on Oricon charts.
