the Fourth Avenue Café was set to be L'Arc~en~Ciel's seventh single in March 26th, 1997 but was cancelled due to [[Sakura (drummer)|sakura]]'s drug incident. It was a recut single from the band's 1996 album [[True (L'Arc~en~Ciel)|True]], and was used as the ending theme song for the [[Anime|anime]] [[Rurouni Kenshin]]. It was then released in 2006 as part of a re-issue campaign of the band's first fifteen singles in the 12cm format. The coupling tracks are by D'Ark~en~Ciel, an alter-ego of L'Arc~en~Ciel when sakura was still present. It reached #5 on the [[Oricon]] charts and sold 49,916 copies.
