- Information
"Circuit no Musume" is the third single released by PUFFY. The title song was used as the YAMAHA MOTOR's "Vino" CM song. The song's title is parody of the manga Circuit no Ookami by Ikezawa Satoshi[1]. This single was produced by Okuda Tamio, and he later recorded a self-cover of the song on his 2001 album, CAR SONGS OF THE YEARS. The single reached #1 on the weekly Oricon chart, making it their second consecutive #1 single, and it stayed on the chart for a total of 16 weeks. In all the single sold a total of 701,000 copies[2]. The single also reached #32 on the yearly Oricon chart for 1997.
