"Aoi Sangoshou" is Matsuda Seiko's second single. Matsuda won the best newcomer awards at the "22nd Japan Record Awards" and the "11th Japan Music Awards" thanks to the title track. The single re-released in CD format in 2004 including the instrumental tracks. "Aoi Sangoshou" reached #2 on Oricon charts and sold 564,000 copies, becoming the #15 single of 1980. The re-edition CD reached #88 and charted for one week.
