Stop the music is Amuro Namie and SUPER MONKEYS' seventh and last single under the Toshiba-EMI label. Amuro Namie would move onto avex trax for a solo career. Meanwhile, the four leftover members of SUPER MONKEYS would form the group MAX, also under the avex trax label. This single reached #4 on the Oricon charts and charted for 13 weeks. It sold 528,160 copies, becoming the #65 single of 1995.
Stop the music is a Japanese cover of Eurobeat artist Sophie's song "Stop the Music".
