Information

"Humming ga Kikoeru" is the fourth single released by Kahimi Karie. It was produced by Kahimi and her boyfriend and collaborator at the time Oyamada Keigo. The song was used as the opening theme to the anime series Chibi Maruko-chan. This is Kahimi's second single released under Trattoria and therefor second with a promotional tie-in. A month later Kahimi released her best selling fourth mini-album Le Roi Soleil. A vinyl version of the single released in 2001 by the indie label Afters Or Records.

The single reached #26 on the weekly Oricon chart, and continued to rank for a total of six weeks. "Humming ga Kikoeru" is Kahimi's best selling single. Despite being the best selling, it was out ranked by "GOOD MORNING WORLD" which reached #20.
