LOVE & CARNIVAL is the eighth studio album released by angela. It was released in a limited CD+Blu-ray edition and a regular CD edition. Many of the songs were used in anime along with some film themes. Several tracks were used for the anime series Soukyuu no Fafner -EXODUS-: "DEAD OR ALIVE" was used as the second opening theme, "Horizon" was used as the second ending theme, and "Aisuru Koto" was used as a special ending theme for episode 17. "Kishi Koushinkyoku" was used as the theme song for the anime Sidonia no Kishi Daikyuu Wakusei Sen'eki, while "Ai, Hito Kakera" was used as the theme for the theatrical film version. "KIZUNA" was used as ending theme of the anime K RETURN OF KINGS in the final episode. The song "Jump up!" was used as ending theme for the radio program angela no sparking! talking! show!.
