9GOATS BLACK OUT is an indies alternative Japanese rock band in the visual-kei scene. They formed near the end of 2007 as a trio, and now use one support musician, keyboardist akaya. More than two years after their formation, 9GOATS BLACK OUT released their debut album TANATOS on March 24th, 2010.

A month after its release it was announced that starting after their live on May 7th they would go into an activity pause, with their support drummer aki soon departing from the group. 9GOATS BLACK OUT was formed near the end of 2007 by ryo (ex-GULLET) with utA and hati, both ex-Rayarch. The band doesn't have an official drummer but used aki (also ex-GULLET) as their drummer, along with akaya for the role of manipulator/programming/keyboards, as another support member. Starting on January 25th, 2008 9GBO released their debut mini-album devils in bedside through pre-sale on their official website. It sold-out through pre-orders some time before its release, so on February 12th the band release the second pressing of the mini-album through the website.

In the meantime they filmed their first PV for their song "sink", from their debut mini-album. They made two versions, one short (for demonstration purposes) and the long standard one.
