Kasou is L'Arc~en~Ciel's 12th single. It was released on the same day as Shinshoku ~lose control~ and HONEY. It reached #4 on the Oricon charts and sold 1,009,920 copies, becoming the #14 single of 1998. It charted for 30 weeks and sold a total of 1,049,639 copies.
This single was re-released in 12cm format on August 30th 2006, as part of their 15th anniversary campaign. The first press was a picture-label disc.
