Kokusho Sayuri

Kokusho Sayuri (国生さゆり) is a Japanese pop singer, idol, and talento. She made her debut as member #8 of the idol group Onyanko Club. In the mid 1990s, she was also a member of the group McKee.

Information

Kokusho began to audition for many contests beginning in 1983, including Miss Seventeen Contest that Kudo Shizuka eventually won, but failed them all. But luck turn around when passed the audition for Jyoushikousei Special that later would form the super idol group Onyanko Club. She was quickly recognized as the leader of the group and sang lead on many singles. A year later after joining, she debuted as a solo artist with the single Valentine Kiss that included various members of the group on the single.
