"Valentine Kiss" is Kokusho Sayuri's first single under the name "Kokusho Sayuri with Onyanko Club". The single reached #2 on the Oricon charts, selling 317,000 copies. The single also reached #14 on the yearly Oricon chart for 1986. It won the The Best Single Of The Year Award at the Japan Golden Disc Awards. The title song was used for the ending theme for the program Getsuyou Dorama Land.
The single was re-released in 2008 as Kokusho Sayuri's tenth single. The single is an updated version Kokusho's first single. It includes the 2007 version that was only available for internet download.
