Information

"Lupin the Fire" is SEAMO's fifth single. It was released in two versions: a limited CD+DVD version and a CD only version. The title track was used as the opening theme song for the TV show bbt music selection. Originally called "Lupin Sansei no Theme", it is a cover of the first opening theme song of the second series of the 1980s anime Lupin the 3rd. The single reached #9 on the Oricon charts and charted for nineteen weeks. Because it sold 99,205 copies in 2006, it was the #100 single of the year. Overall, it sold 101,611 copies. The single's success, along with his previous single "Mata Aimashou", earned SEAMO his first appearance at NHK's Kouhaku Uta Gassen, where he performed a medley of both songs.
