NAOTO (ORANGE RANGE)

Revision as of 17:26, 19 January 2013 by Lilac neko (talk | contribs)

NAOTO, aka Hiroyama Naoto (廣山直人) is a member of the Okinawan band ORANGE RANGE. He is the leader of the band (decided by losing a game of paper/scissors/rock) and plays guitar. Naoto formed the band originally in early 2003 with KATCHAN. Naoto has two brothers who formed the techno unit RYUKYUDISKO, Hiroyama Tetsushi and Hitoyama Yosuke.

In 2007, NAOTO started to release music under the name delofamilia. The album featured self-produced experimental/electronic music, with album vocals by Sony artist Nobuchika Eri and former BAKU guitarist AIR. Delofamilia is a meaningless word coined by NAOTO, who decided to use this stage name after feeling shy for introducing himself as NAOTO.

In early December the debut delofamilia album was released, entitled quiet life. It debuted at #76 on Oricon's album charts. The leading track from the album was PAIR, which received an animated music video.

NAOTO's second and third album under "delofamilia" features Rie fu as the vocalist.
