NU'EST (뉴이스트) is a Korean pop 5-member boy group that debuted in 2012 under PLEDIS. In December 2011, three NU'EST members (known at the time as Pledis Boys) were featured on the single "HAPPY PLEDIS 2012 ‘LOVE LETTER'". The group' name stands for "New Establish Style Tempo". In Japan, the group signed with Sony Music Japan's sub-label Ariola Japan.
