In August 2010, Koshinaka Makoto announced in his website that he was going to form a new band called TRICK. By then, their activities and line-up were still "shrouded in mystery", but it was noted that they will take part in a tribute album for legendary metal band SEIKIMA II. Not too long after that, SHUSE, a support member of Acid Black Cherry, announced in his blog that he would become the bassist of the band. The remaining members were revealed to be Fujimoto Taiji (ex-D.T.R) and Kashiyama Kei (ex-MOON CHILD).
