In June 2014, Tao was spotted filming for Zhang Li Yin's music video for her single Agape, alongside labelmate [[Victoria]] of [[f(x)]]. Tao was cast as the male lead, playing Victoria's grown up son. The music video was released on early August 2014. In July 2014, it was confirmed that Tao will be joining the Solomon Island edition of Laws of the Jungle. It is set to air on September 2014, replacing the Indian Ocean portion of the show.
