Biography

ZIGZO is a Japanese rock band formed in 1999 by ex-L'Arc~en~Ciel drummer sakura along with ex-Malice Mizer vocalist TETSU, and bassist DEN and guitarist RYO from BY-SEXUAL.

As the first project Sakura undertook following his arrest, he had high hopes for the band. Unfortunately they only lasted until 2002, when the band disbanded due to disagreements about what direction the band should take.

ZIGZO made their debut at a secret live in April 1999 under the name Malice~en~Sex, a tribute to each of their former bands. They made few tv appearances, but they managed to put out two albums (including a best album) and a number of singles during the short time they were together. They disbanded in 2002.

In 2012, they decided to come back.
