"ambiguous" is the second single recorded by GARNiDELiA, and their major label debut with DefSTAR Records. It was released in three versions: a limited CD+DVD edition, a limited CD+DVD Anime Edition, and a regular CD edition. The Limited Anime Edition featured the bonus track "ambiguous (TV Size ver.)". The title track was used as the opening theme for the anime series Kill la Kill. While "ambiguous" is written by famed anison singer-songwriter Hinata Megumi, the B-sides are both penned by vocalist MARiA. The single peaked at #15 on the Oricon charts and charted for nine weeks, selling 13,459 copies.
