Violet Cry is the sophomore studio album recorded by GARNiDELiA, and only original album released via SME Records. It was released in three different versions: a limited CD+Blu-ray edition, a limited CD+DVD edition, and a regular CD only edition. The Blu-ray edition came with footage from their One-Man Live "stellacage vol.Ⅲ" at the TOYOSU PITT, while the CD+DVD edition came with the music videos that were released leading up to the record, and it features a short film for the ballad "MIRAI".
The artwork for the album was all created by vocalist MARiA. Violet Cry is made up of a total of 13 tracks, with "Cry" acting as the lead-in track for the album. Several of the songs had tie-ins with different anime series: "MIRAI" was the ending theme for Gunslinger Stratos and "Yakusoku -Promise code-" was the opening theme for Qualidea Code. [1] "Gokuraku Jodo" was also released as a digital download and MARiA recorded a Dance Video, which has recieved more than 20 Million views. All tracks feature lyrics by MARiA and music composed by toku.
Oricon Chart Positions

The album reached #21 on the weekly Oricon chart, and continued to rank for a total of five weeks. Violet Cry also reached #9 on the newly established Oricon Digital Album chart.
