Information

"ASCENDEAD MASTER" is the debut major single and second overall single released by Versailles. It is both their first release after signing with Warner Music Japan, and their last with bassist Jasmine You, who would pass away two months later. This was released in four different versions: three limited CD+DVD editions (I, II, & III) and a regular CD only edition. Each limited edition comes with the title song plus an instumental soundtrack, along with a DVD of one of three parts that make up the title song's music video. The regular edition comes with the B-side "Gekkakou" and a soundtrack not present in any of the limited editions. The single reached #8 on the Oricon weekly charts, where it charted for six weeks. According to Oricon, this is their number one ranking single.
