"chimes" is the sixth single released by Megamasso. It is their debut major single, after signing with avex trax in the summer of 2009. This was released in three different versions: two limited CD+DVD editions (A & B) and a regular CD only edition. Limited edition A comes with a DVD of the title song's PV, while limited edition B comes with a DVD of the PV's making of, a special interview, and the digest from their TV show Megamasso Channel. The regular edition comes with a bonus track. The title song was used as an opening theme song for the NTV show mero.jp de Ikou!. The single reached #16 on the Oricon charts, where it charted for two weeks.
