"Hikari" is the 15th single (14th major label single) released by Hoshimura Mai. The title track was used as the theme song for the drama Tomorrow -Hi wa Mata Noboru-. This is her last single under Sony Music Japan. The single reached #14 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 8 weeks. It sold 7,883 units on its first week and 21,313 units totally. This is currently Hoshimura Mai's most successful single after her singles "GET HAPPY", "Sakura Biyori" and her previous single "regret", which were top 30 entries on the Oricon weekly charts since her debut.
