I AM GILLE. is the first full length cover album released by GILLE. It was initially released in a low-priced edition, however after this edition is sold-out, regular priced editions were release both of these contain an extra bonus track. Many of the Japanese songs were translated and performed in English. Two months later the initial release, a special limited edition of the album including a DVD was put on sale. Before this album came about GILLE released the digital mini cover album Seasons ~GILLE Covers~ there were four digital single released leading up to I Am GILLE.

The album reached #7 on the weekly Oricon chart, and I AM GILLE continued to rank for a total of 22 weeks.
