Information

With an English father lawyer and a Japanese mother, Ken Lloyd has an international sensibility that comes from having grown up in Tokyo and London, this was reflected when he started his musical carrer, first as the second guitarist of ADDICT OF THE TRIP MINDS and then as the vocalist and lyricist on Oblivion Dust.

He confessed that he joined the band whilst he was drunk and in response to his parents, whose expressed concerns about his future, he printed the message "currently disobeying my parents" on his guitar pick.

As well as his duties as an Oblivion Dust member, he also worked as a VJ on the MTV Japan show called BRITISH CODE, where he played music videos from British bands. As the band gained popularity, he left the show to concentrate on the band. Altought at time laters all Oblivion Dust members (incluided Ken) were DJ on a radio show called LUCKY#9.

In September 2001, Oblivion Dust disbanded. Then, in the same year, he joined up with ex-LUNA SEA member INORAN and formed FAKE? of which he is the vocalist and currently the only official member, after INORAN dropped out of the band in October 2005.

In 2007 he hosted a short lived radio shown at Inter-FM called KEN LLOYD'S 13 DAYS every Friday from January to March 2007. He ended his stint with Inter-FM after announcing that he wanted to concentrate on the returned of Oblivion Dust. Ken has announced that a new Fake? album is in the process of being written, though.

Plus, he appears sometimes as a model in fashion magazines and had a long relationship with the singer Olivia Lufkin.
