- Information
MINI SKIRT is the fist full length studio album by Shibuya-Kei musician Hideki Kaji. It was released following his initial debut the Muscat EP and his first single "La Boum ~Datte MY BOOM IS ME", which was released just two weeks prior. The CD was released under Trattoria Records and in 2007 a deluxe edition was released through Polystar. MINI SKIRT DELUXE EDITION came with the album, a DVD, and extra CD-rom special features. The record was produced by Hideki, and two Swedish producers: Tore Johansson (whom would also produce BONNIE PINK's Heaven's Kitchen later that year) and the band Eggstone.
The album was highly successful for Hideki. It reached #4 on the weekly Oricon chart, and continued to rank for a total of twelve weeks. According to Oricon this is Hideki's best selling album.[1]
