Rain Tree is a Japanese pop idol group produced by Akimoto Yasushi under KING RECORDS. The group was formed by the 17 contestants who did not pass the final audition of "IDOL3.0 PROJECT".

Information
Rain Tree was formed by 17 contestants who failed the final audition of "IDOL3.0 PROJECT", which took place over a period of about half a year from April 2023. The 11 members who passed the final audition debuted as WHITE SCORPION in December 2024, while the 17 who were not selected continued to work hard under the name FINALIST, and it was announced that they would make their long-awaited debut as Rain Tree in October 2024.
Their debut single "I L U" was released digitally in January 2025. Through the "selection system" in which the management and various specialized staff judge the three categories of singing, dancing, and self-expression, seven members were selected as the main members of the debut song: Ayase Kotori, Endo Rino, Kato Shu, Sato Rica, Suzuno Mio, Niino Fuka, and Hashimoto Maki.
