"Samishii Nettaigyo" is the fifth single released by Wink. The title track was used as the theme song for the Panasonic S Type commercials. "Samishii Nettaigyo" would be later covered by other artists like W, The Nolans, and Katase Nana. After releasing the single, Wink won the Japan Record Award at the 31st Japan Record Awards, won top prize at the All Japan Cable Broadcast First Prize, and appeared for the first time on the music contest Kouhaku Uta Gassen at the end of the year. The single reached #1 on the weekly Oricon chart and charted for twenty-five weeks, selling 564,000 copies. The single also reached #7 on the yearly Oricon chart for 1989.
