"Shizuka na Yoru ni" is a pop song recorded by Tanaka Rie as the character Lacus Clyne. The song was used as an insert song for PHASE-07, 08, 09, 14 and 20 of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK I album as track #29. It was later featured in Tanaka's mini-album "Chara de Rie". The English version of the song was covered by Jillian Michaels and used for the English dub of Gundam SEED.
In the year 2005, Tanaka self-covered "Shizuka na Yoru ni" as Meer Campbell character for the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY. The new upbeat version was named "Quiet Night C.E.73" and used as an insert song for PHASE-17, 19 and 20 of Gundam SEED DESTINY. "Jillian Michaels" also covered "Quiet Night C.E.73" for its English dub.
