"THE SEVEN SEAS" is the 9th single (8th major label single) released by THE BAWDIES. The single was released in three versions: a limited CD+Book coming with a 40-page picture book based on the title track's music video, a regular CD Only edition and a limited vinyl record edition. The title track was used as the "Pentax Q7" commercial song. The single reached #20 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 3 weeks, selling 8,513 copies. The vinyl reached #158 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for one week.
