"Yasashii Uta wo Utaitai" is the fourth single (second indie single) released by Enomoto Kurumi, and her first using her own name instead of the pseudonym Kurumi. "Yasashii Uta wo Utaitai" was later retitled as "Kokoro no Katachi" for her major debut release. The single did not chart on the Oricon weekly charts.
