TOKYO GIRLS' STYLE

TOKYO GIRLS' STYLE or TOKYO JOSHIRYU (東京女子流) is a five-member female Japanese pop vocal and dance group signed to avex trax. It is avex's first girl group in seven years, and they have plans to be active in all of Asia.

TOKYO GIRLS' STYLE was revealed on January 1, 2010 with the launching of their official website. The goal was to introduce a girl a day on the site, but all girls were leaked on the first day. Prior to this, they had been announced through various media reports, being compared to avex trax's previous girl groups, dream and SweetS. The group performed their first live at SHIBUYA O-nest on February 7th, and they were the opening act for AAA's tour, AAA Heart to ♥ TOUR 2010, on April 29th.

On May 5th, TOKYO GIRLS' STYLE released their debut single, "Kirari☆". Their second "debut single", called "Onnaji Kimochi", was released two weeks later on the 19th.
