Hayashibara Megumi (林原めぐみ) is a Japanese pop anison singer and voice actress. She is signed under Star Child management and releases music under KING RECORDS. Over the course of a thirty year career, she has become one of Japan's most popular seiyuu having over 236 roles credited to her name, and she has won Animage's most popular seiyuu award twelve times. Hayashibara is best known for her roles in Shinseiki, Love Hina, Saber Marionette J, Mahou no Princess Minky Momo, Mashin Eiyuu Den Wataru, Ranma ½, Cowboy Bebop, Slayers, Meitantei Conan, Pokémon, Bannou Bunka Nekomusume, Den'ei Shoujo, and Shaman King where she also performs the opening themes for the 2001 series, '"Over Soul" and "Northern Lights", as well as the 2021 adaptation's theme "Soul Salvation".

Her 59th single, "Shuuketsu no Hate ni", is released this week on December 21st.
