"pretty in pink" is the fifth single released by Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her. This is the band's first single to be released on a CD instead of a vinyl record. The single is unusual because the title track is featured as the last track instead of the first track, like with most singles. The title track was never released on a studio album. The song "Heaven" originally appeared as the b-side on the band's debut single, "Side Walkin'". This is the band's last release to feature their drummer, Karashima Takaharu. Not long after it's release Higurashi Aiha fired him from the band for not taking his work in the band seriously and for creating conflict with bassist Koyama Nao.
The single failed to chart on the weekly Oricon chart.
