Iwai Yukiko (岩井由紀子) was a Japanese pop singer and Onyanko Club member #19.

Information

Iwai became the 19th member of Onyanko Club on June 1986 and participate in their first album KICK OFF. Later on, Takai Mamiko and her formed the group Ushiroyubi Sasaregumi and released their single on October 1985. She become a front vocal for the group's songs after her lead debut on the single "Osaki ni Shitsurei".

She debuted as a solo singer on April 1987 with the single "Tenshi no Bodyguard". When Onyanko Club broke up later that year in August, she changed her name to her nickname, Yuuyu. She released more singles, her own video games, and appeared as regular guests on various TV shows.

In 1997, she retired from show business and married a businessman. She participated in the 2002 reunion with other Onyanko Club members.
