"Chu~♡" is f(x)’s debut single. The title track was released digitally on November 4, 2009 while the physical release of the single was released on the 9th. "Chu~♡" was described as a "trendy europop tune that showcases a drum sound that is used in African music". The lyrics, written by Gyun Jo Yung who has written songs for Girls' Generation such as “Complete” and “Tinkerbell”, tells a tale about a girl who wakes up from slumber after receiving a kiss and is filled with curiosity and expectations of the world. The MV was released on November 7, 2009 and featured choreography by dancer-choreographer Rino Nakasone Razalan.
